What are the types of hadith?
There are many types of hadith. However, we will mention the most important types in terms of the correctness or lack of attribution to the Prophet:
The correct Hadith
The correct hadith is defined as: The hadith whose chain of transmission is connected, its narrators were fair, and their memorization accuracy was high.
Good hadith is the hadith that was characterized by the same characteristics as the previous type, but the degree of memorization among the narrators in this type is less than the previous type.
It is the hadith in which an error occurred in one of its pillars, whether that was because the chain of transmission was not connected, or because the narrator’s memorization was weak, or because of another issue.
The false hadith
It is the words that the Prophet -peace be upon him- did not say at all, these words were falsely attributed to him by a group of liars.
